What I collect, why, where it lives, and how to get rid of it. Written to be read.
Last updated 28 July 2026.
Audity is Luke Ashwood, sole trader, ABN 20 395 490 887, based in Brisbane, Queensland. This page sets out what information I hold, why, and what happens to it. It is written to be read rather than to be legally impenetrable.
The short version
I collect two things: contact details from people who enquire, and commercial documents from clients who engage me. I use them for the audit and nothing else. I do not sell data, I do not share it with anyone, and I do not send marketing you did not ask for.
What I collect
If you fill in the contact form: your name, company, email address, phone number if you give one, what you want looked at, and your approximate annual freight spend. That is stored so I can respond to you and keep track of the conversation.
If you become a client: the documents you upload to the client portal - carrier and 3PL invoices, rate cards, service agreements, work instructions, and any related correspondence. These are commercially sensitive and are treated that way.
If you download the sample report: nothing. There is no form and no tracking on those files.
Who sees it
I do. Nobody else. Your documents are not subcontracted, not sent offshore for processing, and not fed into any third-party analysis platform. There is no team, and that is deliberate.
The exception is a court order or a legal obligation I cannot lawfully refuse. If that ever happened I would tell you, unless I were prohibited from doing so.
Where it is stored
Client documents are held in encrypted storage hosted by Supabase in their Sydney region, behind access controls that mean each client can only reach their own folder. Enquiry details are held in the same database.
The website is hosted in Australia and served through Cloudflare, which handles traffic and security. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads - that is standard for most of the web, and no other information is passed to them.
If you book a call, that is handled by Cal.com and the details you enter go to them as well as to me.
How long I keep it
Client documents are deleted at the end of the engagement on written request, and I will confirm when it is done. If you do not ask, I keep them for seven years, which is the period an audit may need to be defended or revisited.
Enquiry details are kept until you ask me to remove them. If a conversation goes nowhere, ask and they are gone.
Analytics and cookies
There is no advertising, no tracking pixel, no Meta or LinkedIn tag, and no analytics profiling on this site. The only data stored in your browser is what keeps you signed in to the client portal, and it is only set once you sign in.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for it corrected, or ask for it deleted. Email [email protected] and I will respond within five business days.
You do not have to ask. Every client portal has a kill switch that permanently deletes all of your uploaded files immediately, on your own authority, without my approval and without me being involved at all. It keeps working if I am unavailable, ill, or no longer here. Your login survives so you can confirm it happened and upload again later if you choose to.
When a kill switch is used, one record is kept: the date, the account it belonged to, and how many files were removed. No file names and no contents are retained. That record exists so that either of us can evidence the deletion if it is ever questioned.
If you are not satisfied with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
A note on scope
As a small business under the turnover threshold, Audity is not automatically bound by the Australian Privacy Principles. I have written this policy and intend to operate to those standards anyway, because clients are handing over their commercial billing data and that warrants it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything material that affects an existing client, I will tell them directly rather than quietly updating a page.

Start with one month of invoices - not twelve.
Send a single month and I’ll tell you on the spot whether there’s anything worth chasing. If there is, the full twelve-month audit follows and costs you nothing unless it recovers something. There’s no purchase order to raise and no budget line to find.
